New Process Of Agniveer Recruitment In Indian Army: The Indian Army has made changes in the Agniveer recruitment process. Now under this new process candidates have to go through 3 stages. The army has given information about this by issuing an advertisement. According to this, now to become Agniveer in the first phase, one has to go through the Common Entrance Exam-CEE.
Physical test will be taken in the second phase and medical test in the third phase. Indian Army has made this change in the recruitment process with the aim of reducing the cost of this process and avoiding the exercise of additional arrangements on a large scale. Army can issue the latest notification in this regard in the second week of February.
200 places will be CEE
Under the new recruitment process of Agniveer, the test for recruitment i.e. Common Entrance Exam will be online. This exam will be of 60 minutes i.e. one hour. For this, candidates will be allotted exam centers. There will be 200 exam centers for CEE to be held in April 2023. Merit list will be taken out after the exam. Online applications for this can be made from mid-February 2023 till one month.

Physical and medical test will be taken of the candidates who are successful in the common entrance exam. In the physical test to be held under the second phase, scales have been fixed for running and sit-ups for both women and men. Female candidates will have to cross the running scale of 1.6 in 8 minutes.
Not only this, 10 sit-ups have to be completed along with 15 sit-ups. On the other hand, men will have to run 1.6 km in 6:30 minutes, then 20 sit-ups and 12 push-ups will have to be done. Female and male candidates who are successful in this will be able to appear in the third phase test.
The last stage will be the medical test
The last round will be the medical test for the candidates who qualify in the first and second stage test. In this, candidates will get a chance to become Agniveer only after their health and physical fitness is correct according to the rules laid down by the army.
What was the old recruitment process?
In the old process for Agniveer recruitment in the Indian Army, instead of CEE, the first thing to do was to pass the physical fitness test. After this the turn of medical test used to come and in the last round CEE was held. Actually the army has reversed the process of recruitment process. Last year, 40,000 Agniveers were recruited in the Indian Army. Right now he is on training. About 10 thousand Agniveers will get permanent commission after 4 years. Like last year, this year also 40 thousand fire warriors will be recruited.
